Our History

Longview Barber Shop is the oldest barber shop in the city of Columbus and the oldest business in the Clintonville community.

Opened in 1919 by a returning World War 1 soldier named Tom Pletcher, Longview Barber Shop has mastered the feel of the traditional neighborhood barber shop during it's long history server central Ohio.

Originally a two chaired shop, Longview Barber Shop has grown during the recent barbering renaissance to a lively eight chair shop. The shop is staffed with ten experienced, dedicated, self-employed barbers that are proud of their history and very excited about future opportunities to serve the entire Columbus community.
